GW Works-in-Progress Contest - Nominations to Date

Here's the current list of nominations for the contest (keep in mind that I have not verified that these fics actually meet the requirements as of yet so if anyone has any comments to make regarding that, please do so):

There have also been several nominations made that were not, for one reason or another, eligible. In a few cases, those fics were of sufficiently exceptional quality that I felt it would be unfair to completely exclude them. So - I've added a "Discretionary Category", meaning that fics that do not quite meet the eligibility requirements (for example, an ongoing series that obviously will not be "finished" since its author has no intention of ending it) may - AT MY DISCRETION AS THE CONTEST SPONSOR - be accepted as eligible. Two eligibility requirements that are absolutely written in stone (meaning I will NOT make exceptions for them under any circumstances) are the acceptable pairings and the "no deathfics" rule.

Note: "Discretionary Category" stories will not take away from the prizes for the fics that qualify normally for the contest; I will sponsor additional prizes for them.

And one final reminder, folks: you do not have to send in all ten of your nominations at once. Feel free to send them in as you think of them - I'll let you know when you run out of nominations! I'm tracking everything in a spreadsheet.

As a general rule, I don't start reading WIPs until I know they are going to be completed, so I can't help with many of these, but I WHOLEHEARTEDLY second the nom for Never The Twain Shall Meet!!!!! Read it months upon months ago, but it has always stuck with me! I'd love to see that one completed! ^____^

Anyone can submit nominations for the contest. Authors can't nominate their own stories but that's the only restriction as far as who can make nominations (though obviously they can still nominate other people's stories).
