Guest fics only to update today. New parts in CYT's "Requiem", Casey Valhalla's "Glory", and Nomi's "D.C. Saga". Also some fics by a new Guest Author, Maldoror (there will be more added over the next few days).

Enjoy...

Maldoror!! yay!! she rocks. ^_________^ I'm happy you're hosting her, she deserves so much more feedback. @_____@ *nodnodnod*

I don't spend nearly as much time reading fics as I used to - my time's so limited I spend it almost all writing my own stuff and reading new things by favourite authors. But I finally got around to reading at least *one* of the "check this someday" authors on my list! (And there went yesterday evening - oops... So much for writing...) So once I realized that she's basically just up on Mediaminer (I don't count ff.net because of its rather restrictive terms), I sent off an archive request "tout de suite"... Got back an answer this morning and started coding. I still have to get "Indiscretions" and the "Two Halves" fics up. But I really need to get some writing done first so I'll have to get to them in a day or so.

I try to find authors that *aren't* getting the recognition that they deserve, regardless of whether for one fic or a bunch, to add to my guest fics page. I know a lot of people have pretty much given up on slogging through ff.net and mm.org because so much of the stuff on there is... well, not great. But that means a lot of *good* stuff gets overlooked too...

*__* Will you host "the source of all things" too? She's going to make it 1x2x5 after a while (*sparkles*), and the universe and characterisations rock. I love her Trowa and original characters, and I'm not a fan of either of those usually.

And yeah, it's almost impossible to get recognized on ffnet and mmorg if you aren't known elsewhere already. It's a very good thing that there are people like you willing to host lesser-known authors ^__^

I haven't had a chance to read that one yet - in part because when I glanced at the first part, the pairing said 2x5 and other than a few authors (Mel & Christy and TJ Dragonblade come to mind off the top of my head but there *are* a very few others), I'm not reading much of that anymore (just 1x2 and 1x2x5, I've got a very low tolerance for Duo with anyone other than Heero and Wufei's the only other one I can tolerate him with at *all*). If it's going to be 1x2x5 - probably I'll host it but only once that's a sure thing since I'm only hosting 1+/x2 and 1+/x2+/x5 fics.

And I don't mind folks pointing me towards good 1+/x2 and 1+/x2+/x5 fics by lesser-known authors. I won't guarantee that I'll pick them up but I'll certainly put them on my to-check-out list...
