Good grief, it's been *that* long since I last posted here!?! Sorry, folks, didn't mean to worry anyone. Things have just been a wee bit hectic around here, and I've only been online once or twice a week (and fairly briefly, at that). Going online at work hasn't been an option lately; I've either been too busy or simply not in a position to squeeze in a little personal stuff during lunch or breaks.

At home, I'd been burning the candle at both ends a little too much in order to spend as much time on the computer as I had been, and I let myself get overtired and run down. I've also been catching a lot of flack (with a side helping of general nosiness) from the family regarding how much time I was spending on the computer. In the winter (and in the heat of summer, actually), my computer habits don't draw too much attention, but with spring chores like mowing and gardening and so on, the situation is a bit different. During the week, it's basically a case of come home from work, have supper, work outside till it gets dark (which doesn't happen till 8:30 or so). Computer time has to wait till after that.

Since I've been so overtired that I was pretty much blocked in the writing department (not to mention that I kept falling asleep in front of the computer anyway), it ended up being easier to just go to bed after the sun went down rather than trying to stay up to go online during the week. We've also had family stuff going on pretty much every weekend (including this coming weekend, unfortunately :P ), so I've barely even looked at the computer in weeks. I am hoping, however, *crosses fingers* that things are going to start settling down a bit by the end of this month. Maybe.

And now that I've finally caved in and gone to the doctor regarding the nasty case of sinusitis that resulted from my previous overtired-and-run-down condition, hopefully the amoxycillin and Nasonex will get that cleared up in a week or so and I'll finally get some energy back. (Getting more than four or five hours of sleep per night helped somewhat, but being able to breathe again is really doing wonders for my general state of well-being... :P )

If you've sent me an email and haven't heard back from me, I apologize for not having responded. I also apologize for the fact that I probably won't be responding individually, unless there was something specific in the message that requires a personalized response; I'm just way too far behind and I'll end up being overwhelmed and never getting anything accomplished if I try to deal with everything separately. Hopefully, I will find time this weekend (rain all day Saturday and Monday would help) to take care of the messages that do require further action on my part. *crosses fingers* Maybe I'll even manage to finish editing one of several things that were close to ready for posting before I reached the zombied-out stage of sleep-deprivation. *yawns* For now, however, the antibiotics are kicking in and I can barely keep my eyes open, so I'm off to bed early, yet again. *sighs*
