My mom and I are heading off to Stratford, ON tomorrow morning. We're seeing "The Tempest" and "As You Like It" - one play on Thursday and the other on Friday. We may be home Friday evening, or maybe not till Saturday. So, I'll be offline for the next couple of days. Offline, and computerless, so I probably won't be getting much - if any - writing done while I'm gone. I get frustrated trying to write in a notebook; my word processor has me seriously spoilt. I'm taking a pen and notebook along, just in case inspiration strikes, but I doubt that I'll make much use of it.

What I'm working on this week:

LWH #106
Kindergarten Heero Chapter 17
Veronika's Moonridge fic (GW, 1x2): Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter

Off to pack and go to bed early, so I'm well-rested for an early start and long drive...

We did have a great time. I don't think I'd do the two-plays-in-two-days thing again, though; I think I'd have enjoyed them even more if I'd gone to them individually. The plays were both excellent, but I found that I got restless and had trouble concentrating during the second one. It wasn't the fault of the play; I just couldn't get comfortable. My legs kept cramping and my back was bothering me - between the drive there and sitting through the play the previous day, it was just too much sitting in the same position. We switched seats to an empty row after the intermission (Stratford's good about that, as long as the seats are in the same price bracket), so I didn't have the guy next to me taking up half of my leg room, and I enjoyed the second half a lot more than the first.

No, I don't mind if people friend me. I just don't friend back very often, since I've only got so much time to spend on reading LJ, so I tend to keep my friend list pared down pretty closely most of the time.
