Got the site update done.  Added a 1+2 three-part fic "Monster Trucks, Roadside Weeds, and the Art of Seducing Duo Maxwell" by Sol and new chapters of Casey Valhalla's "Glory" and Chiya's "Seeking the Light" on the Guest Fics page. Added my LWH commission by Kracken to the fanart page. Added "Kindergarten Heero" Chapter 14 and LWH #98. Hopefully there's no broken links.

Need sleep... Still catching up from the weekend's horse-show-related tiredness...

::squees:: You ride?!?! English or Western? You were showing?! Oh wow! I'm so jealous! I haven't been able to compete since I picked up the heavy-duty expensive art courses and I miss it SO!
How did the show go? Do you own your own horse? How long have you been riding? ::latches on to your leg::
It's so exciting to find someone else who loves horses and riding! It's so rare to meet another rider when not at horse-related functions nowadays! ::hugs::

The show was actually a draft horse/pony show. So - halter classes plus driving. I'm not much of a rider though when I *do* ride, it's Western style, more or less. Though the saddle is Aussie (lighter, more secure, and easier to fit than Western ones in general). I actually drive more than I ride (and frankly, my horse seems to prefer driving over riding too!). I've ridden since I was - oh, in kindergarten, I think. Never have taken any "real" lessons, just had a little advice from family along the way.

As for owning a horse - I have two. Both are Norwegian Fjords. The gelding is the one I ride and drive, the filly is just a yearling and we've only had her for a few months. (Bought her after we sold the high-strung mare that kept getting me hurt.)
