Nothing new tonight...

Spent last night and tonight reading the latest Robin McKinley novel, Sunshine. Very, very intriguing book. A really interesting alternate world and some extremely interesting characters. Humans, demons, part-demons, vampires, magic... Just finished reading it and all I can say is that there had *better* be a sequel. Soon. Lots of loose ends left that could easily be spun into a sequel - though the book has a nice, solid - but open-ended - conclusion even as it is.

So - finished the book, will be back to updating and writing tomorrow. Hopefully.

Just finished Sunshine, too. And am in complete agreement on the sequel comment. There were too many things left unexplained! Who is Mel really? What is the Goddess of Pain and what is her connection to the vampires? Is Sunshine really part demon and, if so, what kind? Is her father really dead? Oh, the questions are endless. Bring on the sequel!

Oh yes, *lots* of questions left after the ending! I really hope that there will be a sequel - and that it won't be too terribly long coming! McKinley is a wonderful author but her books are fairly far between, unfortunately...
