Anybody else having problems with LJ? As in, their Friends page isn't updating unless they sign out and back in a couple of times? I've tried emptying the browser cache, closing the browser, etc. - no luck. The only thing that works is signing out and back in - if that even does the trick. I'm also a little suspicious of just how few new entries there are even after doing that, but there's no real way to check that part out. :P This isn't the first time I've run into this problem over the last few days, either.

Yes! And the memories feature only works occasionally and never the first time I try it. *sporks LJ* I suspect it's withholding comments and replies as well. It also is rather sulky about posting comments. For example, I've tried to post this comment three times and keep getting an error message.

It's been coughing sporatically for a couple of weeks. The only way to tell for sure if you're missing stuff is to go directly to the journal of the person you think might have updated.

I didn't think I was, but now I'm wondering . . . [eyes LJ suspiciously]

I do get new stuff fairly frequently when I refresh my friends' page . . .

Shift+refresh/reload/your re- button of choice usually works for me whenever it happens.

Some of my friends posts have not been appearing lately on my Friends page and it is very frustrating.

That memories feature issue is a really major pain. Tags seem to work okay, but that means going back through and editing old pre-tag entries, and most people just aren't going to bother. :P

As for comments - yep, I'm seeing that right now. Haven't had much chance to comment lately, so I hadn't noticed before, but now that I'm trying to respond to comments, I'm really noticing it. I really wish they'd stop worrying about new features and get the basic features working properly. :P

Oh joy. Wonder if the comment notification emails are going to start going awry again. *sigh*

I initially noticed it when my browser didn't show any new posts on my flist for over twenty-four hours. Didn't seem very likely - especially since my LJ client kept telling me that there were new posts - so I tried refreshing the page, clearing cache, etc. No luck. As a last resort, I tried signing out and back in. It worked. Sometimes, it takes more than one round of signing out and back in again to get it to work properly.

I really hope this clears up soon...

That usually works for me too but, for some reason, this time it doesn't. With two different browsers on two different computers on two different internet connections. Signing out and back in works pretty well, though it sometimes takes more than one attempt.

Frustrating is definitely the word. :(

God, I hope not! I rely on those things exclusively... I do NOT have the time to go back and check for comments! >_<;
